NDA MPs To Formally Elect Narendra Modi As Their Leader

Mumbai: In the recent Lok Sabha elections, after defeating the Congress by a huge margin in the leadership of Narendra Modi, and the allies NDA today formally elected Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister, thus the process of formation of the 17th Lok Sabha Is ready to speed up.

According to sources, the meeting will be held at the Central Hall of Parliament at 5 pm and is expected to address Narendra Modi. Modi had already been declared as the Prime Ministerial candidate from the NDA for the elections, in this way the votes of MPs today will be a formal opportunity.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday and handed over the resignation of the entire Council of Ministers before taking oath for the next term.

The Rashtrapati Bhawan communique said that the President has accepted the resignation and has requested the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers that till the new government takes office.

While accepting the contribution of each member of his team for the BJP’s grand success in the Lok Sabha elections, Mr. Modi said that he has had experience of learning in the last five years because he met the officials and employees of the Prime Minister’s Office and conveyed his best wishes. The BJP won a grand victory in the 2019 general election, in which it won 302 seats in the 542-seat Lok Sabha.
