Need To Implement Lockdown More Strictly In Some States: Amit Shah

Mumbai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday talked about the need to implement the lockdown more strictly in some states.

A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said, “The Union Home Minister talked about the need to implement the lockdown more strictly in some states and the effective district-level importance of the guidelines issued by the centre.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shah on Thursday interacted with the Chief Ministers of the states through video conferencing and discussed ways and means to counter the threat of COVID-19.
