NEET-JEE Aspirants Should Not Be Compromised Due To The Failure Of Govt Says, Rahul Gandhi

Mumbai: In a fresh attack on centre, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that safety of NEET-JEE aspirants should not be compromised due to the ‘failures of the government’

“NEET-JEE aspirants’ safety should not be compromised due to the failures of the government. The government must listen to all stakeholders and arrive at a consensus,” Gandhi tweeted. He also posted a video of his message to the student as well as the government.

“What I don’t understand is why you should be held responsible and why further pain should be imposed on you… So why should the government force anything on you? It’s important that the government listens to the students,” he added.

On the other hand, Ministers of six opposition-ruled states have moved the Supreme Court to review their August 17 order, which allowed the central government to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Test (JEE) in September 2020.

Meanwhile, many political leaders including, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, her Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik, DMK President MK Stalin, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, and BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, who too requested the Central government to cancel the exams.
