Next CM Of Maharashtra Will Be From Shiv Sena: NCP Leader Nawab Malik

Mumbai: Amid an ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra state, now it seems like the state will get it’s Chief Minister soon.

As per media reports, NCP-Shiv Sena- Congress through its common minimum program, state will form a non-BJP government and NCP leader Nawab Malik said that the chief minister will be from Shiv Sena only.

“Sawaal baar-baar poocha ja raha hai ki Shiv Sena ka CM hoga kya?CM ke post ko leke hi Shiv Sena-BJP ke beech mein vivaad hua, to nishchit roop se CM Shiv Sena ka hoga. Shiv Sena ko apmanit kiya Gaya hai, un ka swabhimaan banaye rakhna Hamari zamindari banti hai. (Question is being asked continuously whether the Chief Minister will be from Shiv Sena? Differences came up between Shiv Sena and BJP due to the Chief Minister’s post, so definitely Chief Minister will be from Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena has been insulted, it is our responsibility to maintain their self-respect),” Malik told ANI here.

Malik said that the leaders of Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP have finalized their draft of the Common Minimum Program and the top leadership of the three political parties has already sent the said draft and it is now in their view.

“There will be a decision on this soon,” Malik said.

He said, “Our common minimum program basically involves the issue of farmers, debt waiver, employment generation to the youth, etc.”

Malik said that looking at the current farmer’s issues in Maharashtra, the parties are of the view of forming a “stable government as soon as possible.”

On Thursday, leaders from Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress held a meeting to finalize its draft of the Common Minimum Programme.

Maharashtra came under President’s Rule after no party was able to show numbers to form a government after the assembly polls.
