Mumbai: JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar met Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan on Tuesday and tendered his resignation as the state’s Chief Minister. This comes after Kumar ended his government’s alliance with the BJP.

“March ahead Nitish ji. The country is waiting for you,” Kushwaha added in the tweet.

According to reports, he will stake a claim to form a new government in the state with the support of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD.
