No Evidence Found, He Was Falsely Framed: Nawab Malik In Son-In-Law Sameer Khan’s Drug Case

Sameer Khan was arrested by NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) on January 13 & granted bail after eight months

Mumbai: NCP leader Nawab Malik on Wednesday said that no evidence of drugs was found in the case against Sameer khan after the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) special court gave an order online.

“27(a) isn’t applicable in case (against son-in-law Sameer Khan). Nothing was seized from his house. 27(a) was falsely imposed & bail has been granted,” Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik on drugs case against Sameer Khan.

The NCP leader also said that Sameer khan was framed wrongly and will fight against it in court.

“We are going to file an application in court. We hope that it will be proved that people were falsely framed,” Malik said.

Sameer Khan was arrested by NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) on January 13 this year after the NCB claimed that he had conspired to procure, sell, purchase, and transport 194.6 kg of ganja.

After eight months in prison, Sameer Khan was granted bail on September 27.

The court said 11 out of 18 samples tested negative for cannabis, which means 194.265 kgs seized material out of 194.6 kgs is not drugs.  The court also said that all the three sections applied in the case are not applicable.
