Mumbai: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday assured that not even an inch of our land can be taken by any power in the world, while he interacted with the Indian Army and ITBP personnel in Lukung.
Referring to the Indo-China border deadlock, he said, “Negotiations are going on to resolve the border dispute but to what extent it can be resolved I cannot guarantee it. I can assure you, not one inch of our land can be taken by any power in the world.”
Insisting on finding a diplomatic solution to the deadlock, he added, “If a solution can be found by negotiation, then there is nothing better.”
“Recently what happened between the forces of India and China on PP14, how some of our personnel sacrificed their lives while protecting their border. I am happy to meet you all but saddened by my loss. I Pay my tribute to them,” he said.
