Mumbai: In Odisha, 495 new positive cases have been reported, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state is 8,601.
According to the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Odisha, 2,853 are active and 5,705 have been recovered.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that India recorded 22,771 new cases of its highest level in the last 24 hours on Friday.

With these new cases, India’s COVID-19 tally has increased to 6,48,315, of which 2,35,433 are active cases, 3,94,227 cases are cured/discharged, or survived.
