Odisha Reports 60 New COVID-19 Cases, 1 Fresh Fatality
Mumbai: On Tuesday, Odisha’s COVID-19 tally rose to 3,36,322 after more than 60 people tested positive for the virus, a Health Department official said, while one fresh fatality pushed the death toll to 1,912, a health official said.
He said thirty-six new cases were reported in quarantine centres, while 24 infections were found during contact.

The maximum number of 13 cases were reported in Puri district, followed by nine in Sundergarh and Sambalpur districts.
“Department of Health and Family Welfare tweeted,” to report the positive demise of COVID, a 73-year-old woman from Keonjhar district who was suffering from diabetes mellitus, hypertension and hypothyroidism.”

Thirty-five coronovirus patients have died due to comorbidity so far. The positivity rate is 4.17 per cent.
Khurda district, which falls under Bhubaneswar, has so far had the most fatal assaults on 336, followed by Ganjam (248) and Sundargarh (173).
There are now 720 active cases in the state, while 3,33,637 people have so far recovered from the disease.
Gajapati district continued to remain coronavirus-free for the fourth day on Tuesday.

The coastal state has so far tested over 80.61 lakh samples for COVID-19, including 17,329 on Monday.
