One More Positive COVID-19 Case In Andhra Pradesh, Tally Rises To 12

Mumbai: The Health and Family Welfare Department of Andhra Pradesh has detected another positive COVID-19 case in the state on Friday.

A person from Andhra Pradesh came in contact with the patient COVID-19, who had returned from England.

“The latest victim, a male, is the contact of patient number 7, who has returned from Birmingham, England. He came into contact with a coronavirus patient on 17 March and developed symptoms.

The man was admitted to the Gandhi Medical College in Telangana, Hyderabad on March 21 and has been in isolation since then. He has now tested positive for coronavirus.

With this, the total number of positive coronavirus cases in the state has now increased to 12.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total positive coronavirus cases in the country increased to 724 on Friday.
