Mumbai: After a huge success of the web film “377 Ab Normal”, Producer, Ajit Arora soon will be coming up with the Marathi movie “Unaad”. Ajit has stepped into the Marathi film industry with a vision to showcase the beauty of meaningful cinema to the public at large. Though Ajit has been an NRI, yet his heart belonged to Indian cinema and is a serial entrepreneur, Ajit decided to venture into what he is most passionate about Film Production. Ajit, from his experience in the Film industry, has realized that new India is about good content and a realistic approach. For him, films help in bringing change in society and as a producer, he feels his primary responsibility is that people should not only enjoy the film but also relate to the film and take home a part of it which they connected the most with. Marathi Film industry is also known for its content-based movies, hence, he gears up for his first Marathi project “Unaad” based on today’s youth and their perception towards life.
Ajit Says, “Maharashtrian audience love watching meaningful Cinema and are drawn, specifically towards the good content of the movie. With the new rule in place to screen one Marathi film in all single-screen theatres and multiplexes during the prime time also has given a boost to the regional film industry and now more audiences are able to watch Marathi movies which have promoted the culture of Marathi Cinema. Flims like Lai Bhari, Sairat, etc. have changed the outlook of the Marathi Film Industry.
Ajit further added, just like Sairat and other remarkable films, our film Unaad is also based on modern-day culture keeping old traditions intact which can work as a huge influence amongst the people.
The movie Unaad is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and is produced by Ajit Arora’s Production house “Aurora Productions”. The first schedule of the movie is completed and soon the second schedule will be completed by December 2019. The movie is shot in the beautiful environment of Konkan and is expected to release in the mid of 2020.
