Pak Foreign Minister Mentions Kashmir As ‘Indian State Of J&K’

Mumbai: Pakistan will try to give its last chance before the UN General Assembly to grab the world’s attention on Jammu and Kashmir when it takes up the issue during the ongoing 42nd session of UN Human Rights.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi is being sought to take a ‘resolution’ for Pakistan’s case on Kashmir.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi arrived in Geneva with Prime Minister Imran Khan with a special representative of Diplomatic Outreach Tehmina Januja to advance his agenda.

Qureshi while talking to the media said that India is trying to give the world the impression that life has become normal.

“If life has returned to normalcy, why don’t they allow you international media, why don’t they allow international organizations” Qureshi asked.

Trying to carry forward the narrative of human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir, Qureshi called the ‘Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir’.

He went on to say, “Non-governmental organizations (non-governmental organizations), civil society organizations, who go to the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir and see for themselves what the reality is?”
Pakistan has consistently refused to accept Jammu and Kashmir as Indian territory and called it ‘India Occupied Kashmir’ in international forums.

However, he claimed that once the curfew is lifted, the reality comes out that the world will move towards the ‘catastrophe that is going on now’.

Meanwhile, India is ready for a big show. India is ready to describe the situation due to Pakistan’s own set of abolishing the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.

Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal has also urged Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to raise the issue of targeting minorities in Pakistan in the UNHRC. Stay tuned to the UNHRC meeting with IndiaToday.in live updates today.
