Pakistan To Take Kashmir Issue To International Court Of Justice

Mumbai: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday said that the country will take the issue of Kashmir to the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

This comes in the wake of India’s decision to abrogate Article 370 on Jammu and Kashmir. India has said that the abrogation of Article 370 is an internal matter.

“We have decided to take Kashmir case to the International Court of Justice,” Qureshi told ARY News TV, as per a report. “The decision was taken after considering all legal aspects.”

India has been saying that Kashmir is an internal matter and any dispute over it will be resolved between New Delhi and Islamabad. It further described its decisions on Kashmir as an internal matter, which did not affect the territory currently occupied by Pakistan (PoK).
