Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0: Don’t Force Students To FulFill Your Unfulfilled Dreams, PM Narendra Modi

Mumbai:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently interacted with the students, teachers and their parents at “Parisksha Pe Charcha” where he urged parents not to force children to fulfill their unfulfilled dreams.

“I will request the parents – do not expect your children to fulfill your incomplete dreams. Every child has its own potential and strength. It is important for every child to understand these positivities,” Modi said.

Meanwhile responding to a question on parental pressure during the examination, PM Modi advised parents not to have unrealistic expectations from their children.

“I hope parents do not make the report card of their children their own visiting cards…because if that is the aim then the expectations from children become unreal,” he said.

The Prime Minister said that technology should expand the mind and it should be seen as a means of innovation, but, he also asked the students not to forget the playground.

This year students from all over India as well as Indian students residing abroad, including in Russia, Nigeria, Iran, Nepal, Doha, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, participated in the event, whereas last year we witnessed only Delhi-NCR participated in the event.

PM Modi had his first interaction with students in February last year. At the beginning of that month, he had released his book “Exam Warriors” to help students fight the anxiety of examinations.
