Patients Will No Longer Have To Wait In Long Queues Under Delhi Govt’s Upcoming Online Hospital Management System: CM

Mumbai: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Monday that work on the hospital information management system in the national capital is going on and it will be completed within a year.

Speaking on the e-launch of Shri Dada Dev Matri Avum Pediatric Hospital for mobile apps and online OPD placement system, Kejriwal said that the app has certain features that will be incorporated into the hospital management system in the national capital.

“All come under multi-specialty and super-specialty projects (this system). It is a very ambitious project, which I think will be completed in a year. This app has some good features that we could also incorporate in our hospital management system as well,” CM said.

Highlighting the benefits of this app, he stressed that patients will no longer have to wait in long queues keeping in mind the protocol of social disturbances in times of COVID-19 epidemics.

He said, “This hospital is a very important hospital for mother and child care. This hospital has about 10,000 deliveries a year. Its capacity will increase from 106 beds to 281 beds.”

“This app will be very beneficial because patients will not only have to stand in long queues during coronavirus time but also after an epidemic. Mothers, especially pregnant ones, do not have to wait in lines and outside the doctors’ rooms for long. They need to come just half an hour before the appointment,” he concluded.
