Petrol Price Hike : Petrol Sold At Rs 66.04 In Mumbai

Mumbai :  In the national capital, the price of petrol is being sold at Rs 69.26 per liter and in Mumbai Rs 74.91 per liter. Diesel is being sold at Rs 63.10 per liter in Delhi and Rs 66.04 per liter in Mumbai.

Meanwhile petrol prices saw an increase of 19 paise, diesel in Delhi became costlier by 29 paise. Diesel 31 paisa is expensive in Mumbai.

On Friday, petrol and diesel in Delhi sold at Rs 69.07 per liter and Rs 62.81 per liter respectively. In Mumbai, petrol was Rs 74.57 per liter on the increase of 38 paise, and after the increase of 31 paise, diesel was 65.47 rupees per liter.

According to the country’s dynamic pricing mechanism, the prices of domestic fuel depend on international fuel prices 15 days average and the value of rupees.

Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan had earlier said that the increase in prices of petrol and diesel in the country was due to the fall in the value of Indian rupee against the US dollar.

Whereas the government has decided to cut the excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 1.50 a liter and state-owned fuel retailers have been asked to reduce their margins to subsidize the price of one and a liter of one liter.
