PM Modi Calls For All-Party Meet on June 19 Following India-China Border Issue

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi called an all-party meeting on Wednesday 19 June to discuss the situation in the border areas with China.

The president of various political parties of the country will participate in the virtual conference meeting to be chaired by PM Modi.

“In order to discuss the situation in the India-China border areas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for an all-party meeting at 5 PM on 19th June. Presidents of various political parties would take part in this virtual meeting,” a tweet by the PMO India read.

At least 20 Indian Army personnel, including an officer of the rank of Colonel, faced violent violence in the Galvan Valley region of Ladakh on 15 June.

The Chinese side also suffered casualties, including the death of a commanding officer of a Chinese unit involved in a violent confrontation with Indian troops, sources confirmed to ANI
