PM Modi Launches Dictionary Of Martyrs- India’s Freedom Struggle (1857-1947)

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi releases Dictionary of Martyrs – India’s Freedom Struggle.

In this book, there are names of every soldier who was the martyr in the war of Independence. From 1857 war to 1947 till India got Independence there were thousands of people who died, this book contains the name of all those soldiers who let their life for the motherland.

PM congratulates Indian Historical Council for this great step. There are around 14,000 names mentioned in that book.

“Any country who doesn’t respect their own martyrs will have their own future to dark ‘Statue of Unity is one of its symbols’, said Narendra Modi.

PM Modi said, the book is been made but now step should be taken to introduce these martyrs to the every Indian and especially to youth.

He said every village should have the poster of the martyrs belonging to that place in the school and that village should conduct a ceremony remembering to martyrize soldier so that every student and villager will have the proud to their landPM says, ‘Since decades we didn’t have any war memorial and a few weeks before, I got the opportunity to inaugurate the war memorial’.

“Our Government hosted flag on Red Fort on the occasion of Jayanti of ‘Azad Hind Sena’ which was led by the designated Subhash Chandra Bose. also, we have made Kranti Mandir in The Red Fort,” Modi said.

One should not change what history is. One can have their view either good or bad but changing it decreases its moral. Like the story Ramayan, people give their view why Ram left Sita either in a good or bad way but they don’t change the incident. To the same way, we also should not change with History. ‘People who change the story of past are the one who doesn’t have an ability to make their own History. One should accept the history the way it is, Modi added.

In the end, he congratulates everybody who contributed to the making of the book.
