PM Modi To Conduct 8 Lok Sabha Rallies In Maharashtra

Mumbai: A senior BJP leader said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is about to conduct 8 election rallies in Maharashtra where 48 Lok Sabha seats are at stake.

Maharashtra will conduct the election as per the first 4 phases which will start on 11th April.

He said that PM will conduct his first rally on April 1 in North-eastern edge in Nagpur division, Wardha Constituency where Maharashtra will have its first electoral process.

He further said that Maharashtra will conduct polls on April 11, 18, 23 and 29. 2 rallies are scheduled as of now in Mumbai which has 6 LS seats.

‘Till now only 1 election rally is planned in Mumbai where Chief of Shiv Sena, Uddhav Thackeray will also mark his presence’, he said when asked about Modi’s rally address of Mumbai.

In 2014 election, BJP with its allied party had won all the 48 Lok Sabha seats.

This year’s election, Maha Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Uddhav Thackeray have decided to conduct separate rallies for their concerned respective parties Shiv Sena and BJP.

The BJP leader said, ‘We want to cover more areas so it is better to campaign separate rallies and public meeting’.

For the due LS Polls, the allied party has decided to conduct 25-23 sharing of seats. BJP will compete on 25 whereas ShivSenaa will be fielded for 3 seats.

Results of Lok Sabha elections will be declared on May 23.
