PM Modi Writes Letter To Citizens Of The Country To Mark 1st Anniversary Of NDA 2.0

Mumbai: To mark the first anniversary of NDA 2.0, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Saturday drafted a letter for the people of the country.
The letter expressed confidence over the battle against coronavirus, as the PM states (to citizens) their affection and active cooperation have given him new energy.
Referring to the days as the ‘Golden Chapter’, he pointed out that it was after several decades that citizens had voted back to a full-term government with full majority.
“Once again I bow to the 130 crore people of India and the democratic ethos of our nation. I would have been in your midst. However, the present circumstances do not permit that. That is why I seek your blessings through this letter”, writes PM Modi.
Asserting the post- COVID economic revival he said India has surprised the world with its unity and resolve in the fight against coronavirus, and there is a firm belief that it will also set an example in economic revival.
“Our laborers, migrant workers, artisans and craftsmen in small scale industries, hawkers and such fellow countrymen have undergone tremendous suffering. We are working in a united and determined way to alleviate their troubles,” he said.
He also listed out some initiatives and achievements of his government. He also mentioned the packages and reliefs given to the farmers and achievements under the Yojanas.
“The Ram Mandir judgment, delivered unanimously by the honorable Supreme Court of India, brought an amicable end to a debate persisting for centuries. The barbaric practice of triple talaq has been confined to the dustbin of history. Amendment to the Citizenship Act was an expression of India’s compassion and spirit of inclusiveness,” he said.
He also asserted that the nullification of Article 370 invoked the spirit of national unity and integration.
He ended the letter stating “ With prayers for our country’s success, I bow to you once again. My heartiest wishes to you and your family. Stay healthy, stay safe. Stay aware, stay informed.”
PM and his cabinet swore to power on this day in 2019. This commenced the 2nd phase of the NDA government for the term 2019-24.
