Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday completed 20 years as a head of Government, PMO said.
In a tweet this morning, the Prime Minister’s Office said that PM Modi often describes himself as a ‘Pradhan Sevak’ who is trying to take India on the path of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.

Several ruling BJP leaders have come out to congratulate the Prime Minister on this momentous achievement in public life.
BJP National President JP Nadda said that PM Modi has turned into a global power. Nadda also listed out several achievements of the Modi government which first came to power in May 2014.
“I extend heartfelt congratulations to PM Modi on completing 20 years as the head of Government today. As a ‘Pradhan Sevak’, he has made India a global power. He also gave the mantra of ‘Sewa hi Sangathan for our party.
“He launched many schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Kisan Saaman Nidhi Yojana, PM Awaas Yojana and many more to uplift the poor. Through many schemes, the role of middlemen was eliminated, putting an end to corruption,” the BJP president said.
It may be noted that Modi had served as the CM of Gujarat for four consecutive terms and is currently in the second tenure of his prime ministership.
