PM Narendra Modi’s Huge Announcement: India Will Now Have Chief of Defence Staff

Mumbai: In a huge development, PM Narendra Modi announced that the country will now have a post of Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) that will integrate the operations of the three forces–the Indian Army, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force.

Prime Minister Modi said that the Armed Forces is proud for every India. He said that in changing times, forces are needed to speed up coordination.

PM Modi said in his I-Day speech, “Our forces are the pride of India. To further intensify coordination between the armies, I want to announce a major decision from the Red Fort: a Chief of Defense Staff in India (CDS) will be. “

“This is going to make the forces even more effective,” PM Modi said.

PM Modi urges the world needs to fight together against terrorism. “India cannot be a silent spectator to terrorism. Our neighboring nations like Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and China are fighting terrorism,” he says.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also wished Afghanistan on its 100th independence day. “I congratulate them and convey my best wishes,” he says.
