Mumbai: A fresh attack on PM Narendra Modi as he ran his government for 15 of his friends said Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
He said people’s like Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya takes a bank loan, failed to return and ran away from the country.
“If my party voted in power no farmer is going to be put in jail for not paying back his bank loan, it is just unfair that the richest people do not go to jail but farmers go to jail for the same offence,” Rahul said.
He claimed that PM Narendra Modi gave Re 35,000 Crore to Nirav Modi Rs 35,000 crore to Mehul Choksi and Rs 10,000 crore to Vijay Mallya.
“These are Anil Ambani, Mehul Choksi, Nirav Modi and they are Modi’s friends,” he said addressing a poll rally here.
In the meantime, speaking on his ‘Minimum Income Support Scheme’ Nyay, he said that it would provide purchasing power to the people and in turn would encourage factories in Tamil Nadu and the entire economy.
