Policeman Caught With Female Inspector At Rest House, Beaten By Wife & Her Family

Mumbai: In a startling incident near a police station in Agra, a female inspector from Rakabganj police station was found in objectionable circumstances with a male inspector. The altercation that ensued, involving the male inspector’s family, has gone viral on social media, causing significant embarrassment for the Agra police.

The incident occurred at a government resthouse where the female inspector, Shaili Rana, resides alone. Rana, who is posted in the city zone of the Agra Commissionerate, was reportedly in a relationship with a police station in-charge from Muzaffarnagar district.

The male inspector’s wife, son, and other family members forcibly removed Rana from the resthouse, leading to a physical altercation and commotion.

A video of the incident, which shows the female officer being dragged out and the male officer being assaulted by a mob, has been widely shared online. The footage captures the intense scene of the family confronting the inspectors, resulting in slaps and punches directed at the male officer.

Reports from Hindi news websites suggest that the altercation took place at the Rakabganj police station premises. The viral video has put the Agra police in a difficult position, as they have not yet responded to the incident or taken disciplinary action against those involved.

This incident underscores the challenges faced by law enforcement agencies in maintaining professional conduct and managing personal affairs, particularly in the digital age where such events can quickly spread across social media.

The Agra police force is now grappling with the fallout from the video, which continues to garner widespread attention and views online.
