Poonam Sinha Joins Samaj Wadi Party, Likely To Contest Against BJP Leader Rajnath Singh

Mumbai: Actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha’s wife Poonam Sinha will be confronted by Union minister Rajnath Singh from the Lucknow parliamentary constituency on the Samajwadi Party (SP) ticket with the support of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).

Poonam Sinha has joined the Samajwadi Party in presence of SP leader Dimple Yadav in Lucknow,” said the Samajwadi Party in a tweet.

She is likely to file her nomination on April 18, which also the last day of nomination for the fifth phase of polling, scheduled for May 6

In the fifth phase, Lucknow is going to vote on May 6 with a total of 51 constituencies of seven states.
