Preparing For Long Hours Improved My Game, Mayank Agarwal After Double Ton
Mumbai: After scoring a double century in his debut match in test format, India opening batsman Mayank Agarwal said preparing for long hours has improved his game.
Mayank also said that he is extremely happy to contribute to the team and added that being part of a winning outfit is a privilege.
“I am very happy that I was able to contribute to the team. It is a privilege to be a part of a side that won matches and tournaments and I am happy to be a part of the team. After crossing the 100 milestones, eased my nerves and being out there for a long time in the middle gave me confidence.”

Agarwal also gave information on how he used to prepare when he was not part of the Indian squad.
“You have to adjust a bit when you play in different situations. For me, long-distance running has helped me. When I was training, I made sure I bat for five-six hours.”

Aggarwal opened the first opening with Rohit Sharma, a 317-run pair for the first wicket. He praised the compartment shown to Sharma in his first innings as a Test opener.
