Presence Of Prakash Jha On Sets Made Aahana Kumra Discomfort While Shooting Sex Scene In Lipstick Under My Burkha

Mumbai: Aahana Kumra one of the finest actor in the industry who was appreciated for her bold performance in Lipstick Under My Burkha.

In a recent interview with a daily Kumra spoked about toughest part of her journey during the shoot of Lipstick Under My Burkha on sets as she was discomfort during a shoot of a sex scene.

Ahana who played the beautician and had to do a sex scene with actor Vikrant Massey, also disclosed that when she was performing this scene, producer Prakash Jha went to the set and passed a comment which She did not go down well with her.

Meanwhile, she went to the director of the film Alankrita Shrivastava and asked her why she had to listen to that comment from the respected producer, by which Shrivastava took note of that and asked Prakash to leave and he did.

Ahana said, “I remember that once Mr Jha came in and there was a scene where I was filming sex scene, which is happening, then Mr Jha went to the set and he passed comment and It was very uncomfortable to hear
I went to Alankrita and said that he is not my director why he is on the set and I want to hear a comment from her, he is a producer with full respect.

She said that after Prakash Jha realized that we were uncomfortable in his presence, there was great grace to leave this place. She said, “Alankrita asked him to leave and he left, he understood that space, he understood the fact that we were not comfortable with him, he simply stayed with humility and he was really good.”

Lipstick Under My Burkha was presented by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Productions which also featured Konkona Sen, Ratna Pathak Shah and Plabita Borthakur.

Aahana Kumra also portrayed the role of Priyanka Gandhi in the political biography film The Accidental Prime Minister. She was also nominated as best actor in supporting role female at Star Screen Award for Lipstick Under My Burkha.
