President Ram Nath Kovind And PM Modi Pays Tribute To 26/11 Victims

Mumbai : On the 10th anniversary of most terrifying terror attack which took  place in Mumbai on 26th of November 2008, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind paid tributes to the victims of the shocking attack.

Paying tribute PM wrote on Twitter “Tribute to those who lost their lives in the gruesome 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. Our solidarity with the bereaved families”

A grateful nation bows to our brave police and security forces who valiantly fought the terrorists during the Mumbai aattacks” he added.

Meanwhile President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted saying,  “Ten years after the Mumbai attacks thoughts with families and individuals who suffered. We salute those from the police and security forces who made the supreme sacrifise that day. India remains honour-bound to securing justice and defeating terrorism.”

The 2008 Mumbai attacks (also referred to as 26/11)  were a group of terrorist attacks that took place in November 2008, when 10 members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, an Islamic terrorist organisation based in Pakistan, carried out a series of 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks lasting four days across Mumbai.

Later on terrorist Ajmal Kasab disclosed that that the attackers were members of Lashkar-e-Taiba,  among others.  The Government of India said that the attackers came from Pakistan, and their controllers were in Pakistan.

Today on 26/11 various events has been organised to pay tribute to the victims in India specially in Mumbai.
