Price Of Domestic LPG Cylinder Crosses ₹1,000-Mark As Rate Goes Up By ₹3.50

Mumbai: The price of a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder was hiked by ₹3.50 on Thursday, the second such move this month. With this, the cost of a cylinder now crosses the ₹1,000-mark, according to ANI.

LPG cylinder by Rs 3.50, now a 14 kg cylinder costs Rs. 1003 in Delhi. In Mumbai, the domestic LPG price will be Rs 1002.50 per cylinder.

Whereas, in Kolkata, a consumer will have to shell out Rs 1,029 for a 14-kg cylinder. In Chennai, a customer will have to spend Rs 1,058.50 from today for a domestic cylinder.

On May 7, 2022, the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders was increased by Rs 50. After that hike, a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder was priced at Rs 999.50 in the national capital.

Before 7 May, the price of domestic LPG cylinders or LPG cylinders was increased on 22 March. The price was hiked by Rs 50 per cylinder, the first increase in four months. After the hike in March, the price of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder was Rs 949.50.

Prior to this, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders were increased on May 1. The cost of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was raised from Rs 102.50 to Rs 2,355.50, up from Rs 2,253 before.

Additionally, the price of a 5 kg LPG commercial cylinder was increased to Rs 655.
