PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat where he will be inaugurating various development projects. One of them would be ‘One Nation One Card’.
According to reports, this one card facility will let the cardholder to pay for its travel on any mode of transportation.
According to Central government officials, with a new feature in all debit and credit cards issued by banks will let people further use it at any POS machines or at ticket counters. While entering to any Metro station, one has to place their ticket coins to enter, besides this, one can directly via this smart cards.
Officials said, “All new cards issued by banks of Debit and Credit will have the national common mobility card feature so that to make payment during travels. This will be like an e-wallet.”Metro stations in Delhi has already started to run this automatic fare collection facilities for entry and exit. All other metro station will soon have this facility as well.
PM visit will be started from Jamnagar in Saurashtra where he will foot 750 beds to the Guru Gobind Singh Hospital and launch its hostel for Post Graduation.

By inaugurating the first phase of 6 km long Ahmedabad Metro service, PM Modi will also launch the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojna.
PM will also instigate SAUNI water program which includes Und-1 to Ranjit Sagar Lift Irrigation Scheme and Machu-1 to Nyari Lift Irrigation Scheme.
