Priyanka And Farhan Starrer The sky Is Pink Struggles At Box Office Collection

Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar starrer The Sky Is Pink is struggling at the Box Office. Despite high scale promotion, the film failed to make its impact on the audience.

The Sky Is Pink hit the theaters on 11 October and managed to collect only Rs 2.50 Crore on it’s the first day.

While it improved its box office numbers on Saturday, Shonali Bose-directed film saw a sluggish start, with an expected collection of Rs 4-5 crore.

Apart from Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar, the film also stars Dangal star Zaira Wasim and newcomer Rohit Saraf.

The film is based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who died of pulmonary fibrosis. In The Sky Is Pink, Ayesha (played by Zaira) tells the story of her parents – Aditi and Naren (played by Priyanka and Farhan) – posthumously.

The Sky Is Pink marked Priyanka Chopra’s return to Bollywood, along with it being the last film of Dangal star Zaira Wasim.
