Prostitution Racket Busted In Delhi, 4 Including 3 Women Arrested

Mumbai: The Delhi Police on Tuesday busted a prostitution racket in Rohini’s Sanjay Nagar and arrested four persons including three women.

Based on a complaint, the police deployed a decoy customer to the area where two of the accused accepted ₹1,000 each in exchange for services.

He reached Sector 2, Rohini and negotiated the deal. On confirmation, a raid was conducted where one male and 3 females were found.

Police said that the youth has been identified as Ajay Putra Rajkumar, resident of house number 145, Pocket-5, Sector 2, Rohini age-37 years, who was a tenant at the raided address, was running a sex racket.

The three women have been identified as Himanshu resident Sangeeta wife house number Q1/63, Budh Vihar, Delhi age 27 years, Munni Khatoon wife Sheikh Shah Alam resident house number A-2/64, PH-5, Aya Nagar, Delhi, age 26 yrs and Simran wife of Sunil resident of house no. K-93, Janak Puri, Delhi. Age 27 years who offered themselves for sex job,” said the police.

It further states, “Munni Khatoon and Ajay had taken 1000 rupees from a fake customer for a sex job. Counted notes were recovered from them. A case was registered under ITP Act 3/4/5 in PS South Rohini.”

Further investigation is in progress and the past criminal background of the accused persons is being verified, added the police.
