PUBG To Be Banned For School Students In Maharashtra

Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has instructed the Maharashtra government and the Center to respond to a PIL, in which children are prohibited from playing mobile games PUBG in school.

As per media reports, the bench of Chief Justice Naresh Patil and Justice NM Jamdar demanded from the state and central government to deal with the problem of violence and aggression among the children, on which PIL alleged that the game was further extended.

Atleast school students to be prohibited from pllaying online game PUBG, demanded Advocate Tanveer.
The petitioner has also asked the central government to give instructions for making such an online ethics review committee from time to time to check such violence-oriented online content.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole.

PUBG Corporation has run several small tournaments and introduced in-game tools to help with broadcasting the game to spectators, as they wish for it to become a popular esport.
