Pulwama Attack: PSL To Go Off Air Globally As IMG-Reliance Cancels Production Deal

Mumbai: In a wake of Pulwama attack IMG-Reliance has pulled off the broadcasting the Pakistan Super League.

“As a result of the death of Indian soldiers a few days ago due to unfortunate incidents, IMG Reliance is exiting the immediate effect of offering broadcast production services for PSL. The incident has happened, it is very regrettable, “said in a mail address to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Sohaib Sheikh and Kamil Khan, whose content is in the possession of PTI.

An official said that being the only creator of the event, development means that the PSL will be shut down until the PCB brings in alternative production services.

The six teams’ tournament is currently being held in Dubai and Sharjah before going to Pakistan for the last eight matches, including the summit clash in Karachi.

At least 40 CRPF personnel were martyred in the terrorist attack on Thursday, while many others are battling for their lives, who have been termed as the most deadly terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir in three decades.

Earlier government has raised customs duty by 200 per cent, Arun Jaitley said in a tweet.
