Pune District Reports 515 New COVID-19 Cases, 441 Recoveries

Mumbai: A total of 515 new coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today, while 441 people were discharged from hospitals. 06 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

Today, a total of 72,676 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today, taking the total vaccination dose to 1,12,96,276. According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 4828 active patients in the district, out of which 2559 are admitted in hospitals while 2269 are in home isolation. Out of 515 new cases, 115 in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 96 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 30 in Nagar Parishad (Nagar Parishad), 07 in Cantonment and 267 in rural areas.

Out of the 06 deaths, two occurred in PMC, one in PCMC, one in Cantonment and two in rural areas. Of the 441 discharged patients, 169 were in PMC, 107 in PCMC, 10 in city councils, 15 in cantonments and 140 in rural areas.
