Punjab Assembly Polls: AAP Reveals 10-Point Agenda, To Focus On Employment In State

Mumbai: Revealing the 10-point agenda of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections, the party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said the party will focus on generating employment opportunities in the state. Also Read: AAP’s Punjab CM Face Will Be Announced Next Week: Arvind Kejriwal

Addressing a press conference here today, Kejriwal said, “If AAP comes to power, we have prepared a 10-point ‘Punjab model’ to develop and make the state prosperous. We will make such a prosperous Punjab that the youth who went to go to Canada for employment will return in the next 5 years.” Also Read: I Will Join Samajwadi Party On January 14: BJP MLA Swami Prasad Maurya

He further said, “Our aim is to make Punjab a drug-free state. There is a nexus between politicians and drug mafia in Punjab. If you form the government, we will break this syndicate.

On the sacrilege incident, Kejriwal said, “The number of sacrilege is increasing in Punjab. It creates law and order problem in the state. Those who indulge in sacrilege will be brought to justice. We bring back peace and harmony in the state.”

He added, “Punjab has a debt of Rs 3 lakh crore. We will make a corruption-free state.”

The Delhi chief minister also said that the AAP would focus on improving education and schools in the state, and would set up 16,000 mohalla clinics in Punjab and provide free medical treatment to all citizens of the state.

Earlier Delhi CM had said that AAP will give Rs 1,000 to every woman above 18 years of age.
