Punjab CM Launches Anti-COVID Awareness Drive ‘Mission Fateh’

Mumbai: Punjab Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh has launched a month-long Covid-19 awareness campaign under ‘Mission Fateh’.

Describing the mission as a symbol to resolve the people of Punjab, Captain said “It will bring the people of Punjab into its fold to make the fight against COVID-19 a battle of the people, by the people, and for the people.”

The CM stressed the need for adherence to all safety measures, cooperation with the state government in compliance with the lockdown restrictions.

He urged the state to follow social distancing, wash hands, and wear a mask to win the battle against the pandemic.

A number of activities will be invoked as part of the campaign collaboratively driven by the Department of Information and Public Relations and various NGOs, social organizations, and charitable institutions according to an official release.

“To implement the campaign in an effective and result-oriented manner, the Department of Information and Public Relations has prepared a comprehensive roadmap of activities aimed at spreading awareness on wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining social distance, taking care of the elderly, remaining vigilant about the entry of outsiders, use of COVA App to track patients of the virus and maintaining a safe distance from them”, read the release.
