Mumbai: Congress president Rahul Gandhi met the Dalit women who was raped by 5 men in front of her husband in Rajasthan’s Alwar district.
He was accompanied by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, deputy CM Sachin Pilot and Congress national general secretary Avinash Pandey, they said.
Earlier on 26 April, a group of 5 men busted husband and wife, later on, took them to an isolated place and allegedly raped Women in front of him one of them shoot the whole incident which went viral on social media.
An FIR was lodged on May 2 and accused on 4th May broadcast a video clip of crime.
This incident led to widespread protests in Alwar, Jaipur, Dausa and adjoining areas and a protest under the leadership of BJP Rajya Sabha member Kirori Lal Meena became violent in Dausa on Tuesday, in which more than half a dozen people were injured.
