Rahul Gandhi Meets Delegations, Receives Complaints At Wayanad Collectorate

Mumbai: Congress president Rahul Gandhi visited MP facilitation centre in the district Collectorate here and accepted memorandums and complaints from the people.

Rahul Gandhi, who is on a three-day visit to his parliamentary constituency-Wayanad, discussed with the local representatives, party leaders and district officials and collected information on the various pressing issues of the parliamentary area spread over Uttar Pradesh. Wayanad, Malappuram and Kozhikode districts.

Gandhi was welcomed by the officials who reached the district headquarters in the morning along with state party leaders including KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran and Leader of Opposition in Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala.

Senior Congress leader K Venugopal later told reporters that Gandhi met about 22 delegations and ensured that his issues would be raised.

“While cutting down on politics, a large number of people came to meet Rahul Gandhi and made him aware of his issues. There were some of those issues which were to be Praised in parliament … to find some others to take action with the central government, “he said.

“Gandhi listened to their complaints patiently and ensured them to intervene as their MP,” he added.
After spending nearly an hour in the Collectorate, Rahul Gandhi pulled out a roadshow in Kalpetta town. Later in the day, he will also participate in five other road shows in the constituency.

Due to heavy rains, Gandhi organized a roadshow on Friday at different places in Malappuram district of the constituency.
