Mumbai: On Saturday, Congress president Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar campaign’ saying as a gatekeeper who is the one who guards wealth of high rich people.
A few weeks back, many BJP leaders started the ‘Main Bhi chowkidar campaign’ by putting Chowkidar beside their names on social media. After this campaign, millions of people started putting hashtags as #meinbhichowkidar. The opposition confronted this campaign saying as ‘Chowkidar chor hai’.
Rahul asked at the gathering, “Which type of people guards Chowkidar in front of their home? Chowkidar is not appointed at common people’s house.”
After the announcement of Lok Sabha poll Rahul Gandhi while addressing a rally in Bihar he said PM treat Anil Ambani, Mehul Choksi, Nirav Modi as bhai while he address only Mitron (friends) to common people.
Rahul asked, “He was about to deliver 15 lakhs in the accounts of people, he was about to clear the loan for farmers, he was about to give two crore Jobs to the people. Has he answer to the question that why he failed to deliver this promises? Has the PM did anything for farmers and youth?”
Gandhi stated, “In Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, Congress had promised to waive off the loans of farmers and was done within a fortnight’.
Gandhi said his party came in the power then he will draw a minimum income line for poors and money will be deposit automatically into their accounts.
President Rahul asked, ‘On the name of Demonetisation he take off the savings saved during a hard time since years of women. Why can’t he waive loans of farmers if he had to waive 3.5 lakh crores of rich?’
