Raj Kundra’s Mobile, Laptop Had 119 Porn Videos He Planned To Sell For ₹9 Cr: Police

A Mumbai court on Monday granted bail to Raj Kundra in a pornography case on a surety of Rs 50,000

Mumbai: During the investigation in the pornography case, police found 119 porn videos from businessman and actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra’s mobile, laptop and hard disk drive, Mumbai Police Crime Branch said.

According to the information given by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch, Kundra was planning to sell these videos for Rs 9 crore.

The court also granted bail to Kundra’s aide Ryan Thorpe. They will also have to furnish a surety of Rs 50,000.” Niranjan said, “We had submitted (before the court) that a charge sheet has been filed in the case and hence, we are filing for bail now; which the court has granted,” informed Niranjan Mundargi, the advocate of Kundra.

Meanwhile, the property cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch presented a 1500-page supplementary charge sheet against businessman Kundra in the pornography case before the Esplanade Court.

According to the information shared by the Mumbai Police on Thursday, the 1500-page charge sheet contains the statements of 43 witnesses, including Shilpa.

In the charge sheet, statements of actress Sherlyn Chopra, Sejal Shah, many models and employees of Kundra’s company are recorded. The charge sheet also includes the names of two who wanted to be accused in the case.

Kundra was arrested by the police on July 19 along with 11 others for allegedly making obscene films.
