Raj Pal Yadav Sentenced 3 Months Jail For Failing To Pay 5Cr Loan Amount

Mumbai :  Well known comedy artist Rajpal Yadav has been sentenced to three months of imprisonment for non-payment of loan of around Rs 5 crore. Rajpal who is know for his comic role lastly seen in Judwaa 2, his company has taken this loan to produce a film which obviously bombed.

Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw yesterday passed a judgement ordering that Yadav should be taken into custody and kept in the Tihar Jail.

The case has been field by the delhi based Murli Projects against Rajpal’s company Shree Naurang Godavari Entertainment, for not paying the loan amount of Rs 5 Crore, the actor took the loan in 2010 to make his Hindi debut directional film “Ata Pata Laapata”.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the 47-year-old was detained and locked at Tihar Jail following directives issued by Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw at the Delhi High Court.

The comic actor had worked in several Bollywood movies and considered has one of the best comedians in Indian Cinema.

While sentencing the court has stated that the actor cannot be unmindfull after singing the legal doucuments.
