Mumbai: According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, the novel coronavirus caused 11 more deaths in Rajasthan on Friday, taking the death toll to 1,966.
The state reported 1,797 fresh COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the infection number to 2,07,597. The number of active cases in the state is 16,277.

According to the bulletin, 1,89,354 people have so far been discharged from hospitals after recovering from the infection.

In Jaipur, the death toll from the epidemic is 380, 190 in Jodhpur, 146 in Ajmer, 143 in Bikaner, 116 in Kota, 95 in Bharatpur, and 76 in Pali.

In the new COVID-19 cases, 307 in Jaipur, 191 in Jodhpur, 165 in Bikaner, 122 in Alwar, 115 in Ajmer, 102 in Sriganganagar, 94 in Sikar, and 81 in Kota were also reported in other districts of the state.
