Rajkumar Rao’s Girlfriend Patralekha Is Gearing Up For Her Kannada Debut Opposite Golden Ganesh

Pune: The Citylights actress Patralekha who made her debut in the movie alongside real life boyfriend Rajkumar Rao is all set to place her steps in Kannada cinema.

After working with Abhay Deol in their previous movie Nanu ki janu, Patralekha will be debuting in Kannada movies with Golden Ganesh in “Where is my kannadaka?”. Previously, she and her date Rajkumar Rao got featured on Humans of Bombay page, where talking about their relationship, she said, “Once we started working together, it was magic. The kind of passion he had was powerful. He would bring everyone along with him like a tornado. He made sure that not only him, but everyone did their best, and I couldn’t respect him any more than I did then. I saw him through his struggles, never giving up. How could we not fall for each other? We wouldn’t officially go on dates, but we would go for long drives, movies, or even sit at home and eat our hearts out. We would even accompany each other for auditions — silently seeping in support. It’s all we needed – that understanding.”

Talking about her Kannada movie, it is going to be action comedy where Golden Ganesh will be playing the male lead. Movie is going to wrap up from foreign shoot locations like London and will be getting released in April. Direction of the project is done by couple Raaj and Damini. Listening to the actress, Patralekha said, “I am super excited to be working on it. While I can’t reveal about the role right now, but I can definitely say that it’s a kind of role that I haven’t portrayed on screen so far and that makes it special for me”.

Patralekha had made her debut from Hansal Mehta’s directorial Citylights which featured her opposite Rajkumar Rao and was last seen in Nanu ki Janu.
