Rakesh Tikait Warns Media Houses Will Be the Next Target, If They Don’t Join

He claims that the biggest problem is of MSP in the country, we'll raise this issue

Mumbai: Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait on Tuesday warned that their next target will be Media houses if they don’t support the farmer union, after arriving in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

“Everyone should join us. The next target will be media houses, if you want to be saved then join us, else you’ll also suffer,” Rakesh Tikait said.

He further said that the Central Government sold half the country by making these farm laws.

While addressing media he said, “The main thing is that Delhi  has sold half the country by making laws. They sold 182 vegetable markets in Madhya Pradesh.” (roughly translated in Hindi)

“We’ll raise the issues of (farmers from) Chhattisgarh. The biggest problem is of MSP in the country, we’ll raise this issue. We’ll talk about how vegetable farmers of state can be more benefitted & what policies need to be made for them,” he added.

The farmers have been protesting near the national capital Delhi since November last year, demanding that the three laws be scrapped. They have tried to intensify the agitation by undertaking different exercises, like Republic Day rally etc.

On September 27, a 10-hour Bharat Bandh was the latest attempt by the farmer protesters to push their demand of the withdrawal of the three central laws.

The Centre and farmer unions have held 11 rounds of talks so far, but the impasse is still continuing with the farmers refusing to end their protest.
