Rakhi Sharma Paves Her Way To Success Barring All Hurdles

“Success is where your happiness lies. You don’t have to do a regular job to be successful. You can be a model or an actor and earn for yourself. One doesn’t have to take society’s approval for that”, a strong motto by Indian actor and model Rakhi Sharma.

Coming from a small town, Rakhi is paving the way for all the young women wanting to pursue their careers in acting and modelling. She dreams to see every young girl confident enough to step out of the boundaries set by society and do whatever they want.

Childhood wasn’t buttered smooth for Rakhi. As an average student throughout her academics, Rakhi went through many struggles. The constant bullying from other kids at school and pressure to score well proved to be a huge barrier to understanding and achieving her dreams

Being a shy personality she preferred to be a part of a larger crowd, lost and unknown. It was during her teenage years she discovered a new side of hers when she first faced the stage. Rakhi had always loved the stage but never tried to explore it. She was 16 years old when the constant comparison made Rakhi take part in extracurricular activities in school which eventually brought the hidden confidence she always had. Her early performances include dance shows at school and inter-school level. The praise and appreciation from the audience made Rakhi move forward in this direction.

During her graduation years, she started giving modelling auditions. It was then when she got her first theatre show. Rakhi Sharma has also played a lead role in a theatre play alongside Rajeev Verma. With time she bagged many theatre plays, photoshoots, brand endorsements, music videos, short films, and modelling projects.

Rakhi believes that the stage brings the best of her. Being on stage, facing the camera, and playing a character takes her to a different world where she can live many different lives. While working hard and achieving success in her profession what still bothers Rakhi is the ignorance of the society of her profession. She wants people to recognize her profession and not humiliate it. Rakhi believes in herself and her work and that is why she works actively in promoting and motivating all the young women to pursue their career in this profession.

Rakhi Sharma is a self-made woman with no support from the people around her. Rakhi has done many short films, featured in music videos by Tseries, acted for various web series, and modelled for various recognized brands. Presently, she is shooting for two web series for the OTT platform. One of which features her as a lead actor opposite Batla House movie fame Amit Verma. Her other short film based on educating the importance of all professions to a man- is also set to release soon.
