Ramdas Athawale Leaves PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia In Splits: Watch

Mumbai: Taking a jibe at Congress president Rahul Gandhi on his loss in recent Lok Sabha Election Minister of State for Social Justice Ramadas Athawale said, “I congratulate you that you got the opportunity to sit there (in the opposition benches)”.

Impressing the newly elected President Om Birla shortly after his election in the Lok Sabha, Athawale, who heads a faction of RPI and known for his funny comment, said that he had been contacted by the Congress party before the elections, But they knew because they knew that “wind” was flowing in favor of Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in the House, was seen enjoying the comments, while Sonia Gandhi was seen talking to Rahul, sitting on his side and sometimes joining laughter in the House.

Incidentally, Athawale’s Republican Party of India (A) does not have any representation in the Lok Sabha as it did not contest the Lok Sabha election recently.
