Mumbai: Actress Rashmika Mandanna is set to play the female lead in Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’. The makers of the film announced the decision on the occasion of Ugadi and Gudi Padwa on Saturday.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s magnum opus directorial will now see national crush Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead along with an all-star cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
Owing to a subtle yet powerful title teaser released earlier and the names attached to it, the crime drama has created a lot of anticipation among the audience even before it goes on floor.
The shooting of the film will begin this summer with an estimated release date of 11 August 2023.
The animal is produced by Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures.
