Recruitment Of 10 Lakh People To Be Done Bye Govt In Mission Mode In Next 1.5Yrs: PM Modi
Mumbai: Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) tweeted, that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reviewed the human resource position in all government departments and ministries and directed to recruit 10 lakh people in the next 18 months.

Cabinet secretary Rajiv Gauba was quoted by news agency PTI as saying that the review meeting of the prime minister comes more than two months after he had suggested the secretaries of the central government take immediate steps to fill up the existing vacancies in ministries and departments.
During his meeting with secretaries on April 2, the Prime Minister insisted that employment should be the focus of all government interventions in the public and private sectors.
The Cabinet Secretary had written a letter to the secretaries requesting them to take immediate action on the suggestion of the Prime Minister.
