Rohit Sharma 1st Indian To Slam 5 ODI Hundreds In Australia

Mumbai : Team India’s Right-hand opener Rohit Sharma becomes the first Indian batsman to smash five hundreds in ODI cricket in Australia. Rohit, achieved this milestone while playing first ODI of the series against Australia in Sydney.

The 31 year-old batsman has scored his 22nd century in 194 ODIs. Chasing the huge target of 288 runs Sharma scored 133 runs of 129 balls with the strike rate of 103.10.

Rohit falls for 133! What a great knock it was! In the end, a heavy ball falls on the side of Marcus Stoney’s, who left the top-edge. Rohit looked a little tired after his century but was saved from false shots.

On the other hand Rohit Sharma now has 64 sixes in ODIs vs Australia. That’s the most for one batsman against a cricket opponent. Shahid Afridi hit 63 against Sri Lanka. Afridi took 64 innings. Sharma has only taken 29 innings to do it.
